History of Pelham's Post Office

Exterior renovations have just been completed at Pelham's most impressive downtown building: One Wolfs Lane.  Built as the Pelham National Bank and opened in 1929 (a year that proved to be the most unfortunate year for this and pretty much every other bank), the building was for the better part of its existence, the Pelham Post Office, from 1936 until 20xx.  Post Office services that we now (or, at least until recently) took for granted in Pelham -- daily home delivery of mail, or even having a post office building -- were not always the case.  Here's a look back at the history of U.S. Postal Service in Pelham.
